    Kittle of Toye

Olga and Wesley make kitchens. But not just any old kitchens. Kittle kitchens are designed by Olga and handcrafted by Wesley in a range of bespoke styles using only the best materials. So when they asked us to help them develop a new brand and marketing materials for their business down in Killyleagh we were delighted. When the product is that good, doing good creative work is easy. The Kittles love their new brand and we loved working with them. A great company; great people; and great kitchens.

One of the province's hidden gems, the Linen Green at Moygashel, Dungannon is an exceptional collection of Irish designer retailers in a unique retail village setting. The developer has exciting plans for the Village and our challenge was to produce marketing materials that imaginatively reflected that vision and shared it with potential retailers and shoppers.

What a project! Helping one of the province's most successful and visionary developers market one of Belfast's most prominent landmark buildings as a luxury hotel and a jewel in the ambitious regeneration plans for the north of the City.

Rich in historical significance, architectural splendour and development potential, The Crumlin Road Courthouse gave our 'creatives' tremendous material to work with and made the design and production of the marketing collateral a joy to work on.

  • Stamp Out Stigma thumbnail
    Stamp Out Stigma

Stamp out Stigma is the first co-ordinated national advertising campaign which aims to combat stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS in Ireland.
Launched on Irish AIDS Day (15th June) and running until World AIDS Day (1st December 2007) the campaign will feature a series of provocative press and television advertisements and a range of communication materials that will challenge people's attitudes to HIV/AIDS.

We were so proud when we were chosen to work with the team to deliver this important campaign and we know that with their hard work we will make a positive difference.

Our move is complete

Thanks to all our clients for their understanding as we beamed ourselves across the city from Hill Street to James Street South. Actually, we thought it was going to be a bit more hassle than it proved to be. Anyway, we are now happily ensconced in our new home and coming to terms with the much wider range of sandwich options here in ‘the city centre’. We’ve even got our Xmas tree up.

Two new Northern Bank ads

Following our brief sojourn in Spain during August, we returned to more film work for Northern Bank. Our first commercial featured the very talented Emma Little explaining why an LTV (Loan to Value) Mortgage could save you £100 a month. (Most of the crew practically signed up there and then, by the way!)

Our second commercial was aimed at Business viewers. The product was Cash Management – yet another really innovative offering from the Bank that makes it so much easier for businesses to manage their cash flow and even move their money at a click of a button.

Shooting in Spain

It’s been a very busy summer here in Elm House – especially on our Northern Bank account. Having produced a wide range of print material for the bank, we then turned our attention to giving them a new onscreen presence.

The product was ‘Freedom’ - a great current account for those under a certain age. So we researched and researched and researched... and then decided to go shoot a commercial in Spain!

Amid temperatures of 37C, we toted cameras, lights and make-up and told the story of how “local Northern Ireland guy does good in Spain” - bringing the whole Freedom product to life.

Yes, the shoot was gruelling. But the result was a resounding success. (And it’s hard to beat a de-brief meeting on a li-lo every now and then.)

Titanic Ideas

It’s nice to be part of a piece of history – especially one as engaging and all-embracing as the story of The Titanic.

So – maybe with a little more zeal than normal – our designers recently threw themselves into helping mould the next phase of the Titanic story in Belfast. The result was a piece of work that has attracted praise from the very highest quarters. Watch this space for further developments.

InterTradeIreland success

Our design team scored a huge success recently when they secured the Inter TradeIreland account against competition from all over the country. Not only does this present a great opportunity to showcase our design prowess, it’s great to be working with something that produces really discernible results for businesses on the ground.

ISO - the highest standards

Elm House is, of course, a relatively new agency – but we’ve all been around for quite a while and have always worked to the highest industry standards. So it was pleasing to see that we secured our ISO accreditation in record-quick time. This means a lot to us, obviously, but also means continued reassurance for all our clients. And huge plaudits for all staff at Elm House too – especially the crack ISO unit led by Claire.

Special praise from the Taoiseach

Some of our team travelled to Dublin recently for a meeting with An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern where he singled out Elm House Creative for our very moving series of commercials for the HIV/AIDS ‘Stamp out Stigma’ campaign. He said that our commercials featuring Andrea Corr and others showed imagination, compassion and real insight.

Launching Victoria Square

As one of the city’s most exciting agencies, we were delighted to have been appointed to launch one of the city’s most exciting venues – Victoria Square. To call it merely a shopping centre is a bit like calling the Eiffel Tower merely some street furniture. You’ll probably have seen our launch commercial on air by and agree that it’s not remotely like any other “shopping centre” commercial out there!

Northern Bank success

Elm House Creative has been appointed as advertising agency to Northern Bank. Following a highly detailed pitch process, we were delighted to hear that our ideas for shaping a new way forward for the Bank were favoured against some stiff competition. This impressive business win means a lot to everyone in Elm House and we look forward to a highly successful time ahead as the Bank goes about introducing a series of really innovative products for a changing financial world.

Working with Andrea Corr, John Rocha & Sinead O’Connor

We’ve recently completed a series of commercials for the HIV/AIDS ‘Stamp Out Stigma’ campaign. Having pitched against the best creative minds in the country, our approach was chosen for the uniquely personal and provocative approach we used. In the commercials a series of well known faces speak directly to camera about stigma and the way it manifests itself in everyday life. The well-known faces that feature in the commercials were those of Andrea Corr, John Rocha, Sinead O’Connor, Eamonn Dunphy and Larry Mullen Jnr of U2.
